Drozdovka Tented Camp

  • Catch and release fly fishing only. Pools are daily rotated according to daily schedule.
  • Atlantic Salmon (record trophies from last years: 2006/40 inches, 2007/41 inches and 2008/42 inches), Brown trout, Sea Trout, Arctic char, Hunchback salmon and White fish.
  • Camp operates July – September.
  • Trip starts from Murmansk and ends in Murmansk, length of trip: 7 days and 7 nights, number of rods per week: 6 rods.
  • Overnights in tents (194 sq.ft) for 3 persons each with heat­ing, beds and wooden floor. 3 meals per day (warm breakfast and dinner + lunch at riverside while fishing). Dining room tent (194 sq.ft) with big table and chairs + small bar. There is also a “field-sauna” and electricity.
  • Staff: Camp manager, chef, senior guide and one worker.

Program schedule

  • Starting day of the trip is Thursday. Meet&greet by Varzina staff at Murmansk airport. Minibus transfer Murmansk – Lovozero village (3 hours), helicopter transfer (50 minutes) from Lovozero to Droz­dovka Tented Camp. Dinner on arrival to the camp.
  • Sunday to friday: fishing in Drozdovka at the pools: Sea pool, Azurro, Corner pool, Rock pool, Wire pool, Home pool, Drozdovka lake, Top of the Lake, Upper Rock pool, Lake Pool, Several small pools, Lower falls & Aquarium pool.
  • Saturday: breakfast, helicopter transfer Drozdovka camp – Lovozero village (50 minutes) and minibus transfer Lovozero – Mur­mansk airport (3 hours).
